Potassium Iodide Stabilizer (Chemical name & Synonyms) Hydriodic acid, potassium salt is used in industrial applications and as a Dietary source of iodine. It is solid in physical state, white in colour and orderless. Potassium Iodide is highly soluble in water, ethyl alcohol, methanol and acetone. It is non flammable and having melting/freezing point at 680°, and boiling point 1330°C.
Do not breathe mists, do not ingest. Do not get in eyes, on skin or on clothing. Wash well after use. Do not allow smoking and food consumption while handling. Sweep up immediately to eliminate slippery hazard. Store in a cool, dry and well ventilated area. Keep container tightly closed. Keep away from heat, sparks and flame.
